Want to be part of the best team in our community? Elections are hard work - long days (15 hours), legal requirements, lots of paperwork and technology to learn and manage, interacting with the public, etc., but it is noble work. We greatly appreciate our poll workers also known as Officers of Election who serve Lunenburg County. The Commonwealth of Virginia and Lunenburg County's Electoral Board provide training to those interested. Appointments are made by the Electoral Board on an annual basis and there is compensation for Election Day work.
